The Arts & Crafts Industries, Mission One Drawer Nightstand features the traditional spindle sides to diffuse light and provide privacy of items stored on the bottom shelf. The legs feature tenon caps as originally used on mortise and tenon joints during the period. The drawers are solid aromatic cedar with English dovetail joints on maple wood slides to provide the finest action. The top and the drawer front are 1" thick face glued solid oak, as is the custom of heirloom quality furniture from Arts & Crafts Industries. The Arts & Crafts Industries "brand" on the drawer indicates the authenticity of the piece. This night stand works well with our Mission Three Drawer Nightstand on the other side of the bed. The nightstand at 31 ½" high is perfect for today's thicker and taller mattresses and box springs.
