The Arts & Crafts Industries, Mission, Single Door Bookcase features a locking door with 12 individual glass panels. The door is made with Arts & Crafts Industries ebony black butter-fly joints; following the guiding principles of the period using the highest standards of artisanship while maintaining a fitness of purpose. The doorframe is 1" thick face glued solid oak. The side panels use a recessed panel made of matched quarter sawn oak veneer surrounded by solid oak frames. The interior of the bookcase has four fixed shelves. The top of the bookcase uses high sides and a backsplash for added book display or a decorative piece.
